The old DBC, ABS Start assist failure error

Hi guys,

My e92 has thrown up this error after the past few weeks, I originally unplugged all the wheel sensors, cleaned them and replugged and all was fine for around a week but now the error has returned and won't clear, strange thing is there are no codes been spat out and the car is driving fine.
Is there anything that I could do to help clear the warning lights??
I did notice my idrive said battery charge was low while the ignition was on and engine off, could a dying battery be the issue?

Is there anything else I could check or any reset procedures I could follow??

Any help is appreciated.

When you say no codes spat out, do you mean from the on board computer or via

I had a similar issue a few weeks ago where the car was pretty must driveable until reaching 50mph.

Had DSC and ABS lights, bought a code scanner, left rear speed sensor, replaced sensor (£12) and problem solved.

I suggest getting a code scanner, this one is great and displays live telemetry (for wheel speed sensor issues)
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Creator-Sys...w+code+scanner

If the battery is old/undercharged then it could also throw these sorts of errors.

Hope this helps

Sounds like a different issue to mine, I know Halfords Autocentres do a free battery test.

I’ve even heard a few instances of disconnecting the battery for an hour can clear the odd code.

You can check battery through the OBD or the hidden menu on the dash.
