JB4?

i have a 2011 335i E90 N55 and i was looking into putting in a jb4 stage 2 in my car and i was wondering if anyone has had any problems or complaints with this chip? is it safe for the engine will i endure any problems with BMW? please give your insight it is much needed thank u!

search! this has been answered many times. But in short, as long as you take it off before a dealer visit which will be anywhere from 10 minutes to a hour, it will be fine. thousands of people have it on their cars so i am pretty sure its safe.

as long as it doesn't give me any engine failure or anything like that id love to do it, I've heard it gives up to 60 HP

oh you'll def feel the extra power and torque. When you first turn it on you might get a check engine lights while driving. pull over and turn off car, wait a minute and then turn it back on. It should be gone for good.

I just put it on a couple of weeks ago with a cp, intake, and catless dp and it makes a good difference.

if my car was made after march of 2011 i will need harness B correct? or does that have nothing to do with anything?

Yes but I would make sure and look at the harness pics and compare. Nothing worse than buying it and it being wrong.

it is safe and since you are in the L.A. area, Terry from BMS is not too far. he's out in simi valley and his support through email is great. i recommend to get it. the JB4 stage 2 is the best bang for your buck on the N55.

DO it and never look back. Just make sure you use it correctly. Map 1 if your stock, Map 2 if you have a Downpipe or high octane gas, Map 3 if your running meth. Follow that and you won't screw anything up...

I added a Procede 2 weeks ago. Pick one and go with it. Great increase in power and torque. Be sure to try it with DSC off. Becomes a beast in 1st and 2nd.

if i have a dp and akrapovic exhaust which maps would b most effective for me?

Map1 for everyday use. To run Map2 would require the NOS octane booster on top of what you already have (catless dp + exhaust).
