Exclamation Removing Interior Brake Light

Does anyone know how to remove the high mounted brake light from the interior of the car? Have some dead flies and want to clean the inside, From the outside of the car looking in through the rear window you can see the dead flies. In looks from the inside there is something to pull down but don't want to damage anything.

I'm assuming your talking the 3rd brake light? If so I actually had to re install mine after my tint guys tinted my car. It's pretty easy process:
1. Remove headliner brake cover by pulling the part closest to the window down till it hangs then pull back towards the rear of the car
2. Your 3rd brake light will be exposed and there is a sliding black clip on the left and right side of the unit that you need to slide off. Be sure not to pull down on the clip but slide the left clip to the left and the right clip to the right. As soon as you pull those off the unit will come down.
3. Reverse to re install. Good luck!

thx! I will give it a shot. Do you have any pics on the areas your talking about? Basically I pull down on the plastic area and not the padded roof area?
