FS: N52 Mass Airflow Sensor
I bought this thinking I had an issue with my MAF however soon realized my issue was a separate vacuum leak... as my original MAF is working, I am selling this MAF that I purchased a month ago at GermanParts.ca for $350
My loss is your gain. I am selling well under purchase price. Price : 150 |

I had a an erratic idle when in park or in drive at a stop. I also had lean codes when scanning with inpa and then more recently a p1415.
I changed the maf, plugs, air filter and ran a bottle of fuel injector cleaner with no luck. Finally got it smoke tested and a leak was detected in one of the vacuum hoses. Last edited by starbuck; 11-25-2017 at 07:34 AM.. |

Sometimes air fuel error codes are from the MAF connector and not the actual sensor. I was trouble shooting similar lean/rich error codes for about a half a year until I came upon this thread:
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=905209 I followed the instructions and changed my connectors and haven't had an error code yet! I believe if you snapped your MAF connector clip (pretty common) the missing material lets in additional moisture which compromises the connection causing the error codes. Worth a read, saved me tons of troubleshooting dollars chasing the annoying codes. |
