Hey guys,

I just wanted to let you all know about a couple of runs the local BMW CCA is going to be doing that I'm interested in.

http://www.bmwpugetsound.com/vbb/sho...threadid=28741

If any of you are interested as well I think it will be a fun drive. Then I can evaluate if I want to join the club or not.

I am going to HATE all the bugs that will splat all over the front of my car though

The good weather is coming to an end. If we are to do something, we must do it soon. Just to give everyone plenty of time to clear their calendars: how's next saturday sound... the 27th? Cruising along Alki like 10 E90's deep.

Afternoon-ish? Or maybe evening?

Sorry I couldn't make it to any of the other meets, but I can make this one FOR SURE! Work's been kinda hectic, but by next saturday I'll be ready for a nice little cruise. P.S. Is it okay if my buddy comes? He has a pretty sweet E46 M3.

I was interested in doing the drive through the twisties with the BMW CCA on the 27th but if you guys would rather just roll through Alki that's fine with me.

I did that last Sunday by the way. All 2 miles of it

I'm gonna paste in the description of the drive here:

Quote:
August 27th 3 Passes Loop Run
Saturday August 27th we will return to the 3 Passes Loop Run...also known as the "I can't believe I drove over 3 Mountain Passes just for some Mexican Food Run".

We will begin at Starbucks Issaquah in the Home Depot/Krispy Kreme Donut Center just north of Interstate 90 off the Front Street Exit (exit 17) ...meet at 8am... First car out at 8:30am. Back Roads to Enumclaw then Hwy 410 and Hwy 123 (if Hwy 123 has not been improved we may switch to the Chinook Pass Hwy option...) to Cayuse Pass then Hwy 12 past Rimrock Lake and the Tieton River Canyon to Yakima...we stop at the El Porton Mexican Restaurant for our namesake lunch.

After our Mexican Food Lunch the run's highlight is the drive up the 37 miles of Yakima River Canyon...a basaltic masterpiece of sweeping curves following the Yakima River which travels its full 37 miles with no side roads and few driveways. At the canyon's end in Ellensburg we break into smaller groups for the ride home on Interstate 90. Returning to Seattle area at 6pm ish.

Ooops, didn't mean to double book two drives on the same date. I might end up going on the drive to Yakima. My friend (dude with the m3) has been trying to get me to sign up for that for the past month.

What's the concensus on this board? I'll do whatever majority says. Personally I'm split right down the middle... 50%/50%.

I am the same. I'd like to do the drive but I'd like to meet up with you guys as well. Maybe those who can go on the Yakima drive can go to represent E90post then we can have our own meet the next day or week after.

PM me if you're going on the Yakima drive and we can meet up at my place before we head over if you like. I live near the place they're meeting to start the drive.

Okay, so it turns out that i have to be somewhere between 1 and 4pm... which rules out the Yakima drive.

However, I can be to Alki by 4:30-ish, but I do not want to go there unless a few others are going.

Etherbored, what time does the M's game start? Can you make it to Alki?

Who else is going?

Well, I RSVP'd and am gonna try to go on the Yakima drive. I found a couple pictures of the area and it looks pretty nice. Hope you guys have a good time at Alki if you go. Otherwise, let's pick another date to meet up.

Anybody thinking of Zaino'ing their car? What if we pick a day to do that together, ease the boredom and pain
