There's a 2006 version floating around the net already, but yes. This one will cover all 2006.

Sorry guys, it's official. I've been working with PencilGeek (Mod at M3Post) and he has confirmed the data on the disk is not the 2009 TIS. It is the 07/2006 version, which seems to be the same as what's already been posted as a torrent here (and is floating around elsewhere).

If anyone finds or obtains a newer version of this (or anything else that's relevant), please shoot me a PM. I can help out with the distribution.

This is incorrect. The version posted here in P2P form is december of 2007. Not 07/06.

Even though this is an older version it still has tons of useful info and well worth the $5. I got mine just the other day and I'm more than happy with it. Thanks David!

Oh, forgot to ask - what's the scoop with the ETK disk? Is this something I should have expected as well? I see it mentioned in your instructions but I didn't get it with what you sent me. What's on that disk?

I wouldn't download this version if you wanted it. It certainly isn't any newer than the one that has been available via torrent. And the 2007 TIS that was mentioned in this thread probably doesn't cover some 2007 cars or certain procedures. There is no point in wasting bandwidth on it. There are two 2007 TIS. This is likely the old one.

I guess that an 09 is near identical to an 07. Only thing different is the idrive. Maybe ill get the 07 version......whoops, then Id need to find a windows machine.

If you are going to do this, at least download the newer 07 version and send that out because its got quite a few important things in it for 07 models that the copy you've distributed does not.

i got my cd quite a while back from scimitar but didnt write back here.... it is the older version of the service manual but its very very useful to have. it has ALL the information anyone would ever need and very good diagrams of different parts of the car and how to dismantle or replace parts ,etc...

for $5, it was easier to get him to burn a disc then to find the torrent myself and download it (without being sure if it would install or not)
