A CAI (Cold Air Intake/Cone/hi flow drop in filter) won't really give you much benefit just with that change alone unless your stock filter was hella dirty! If it was just badly dirty and we toss in a new one... you will just be getting back all your lost power.

I don't think i can even feel 10hp, like some people say changing out my stock exhaust will give me 10-20hp, to be honest... spending $2k-$3k is not a good ROI on $-to-hp. But the JB4+Cone+USB cable will give a huge bump for only $600! Plus open the doors to future mods with no additional costs to upgrade the tune to match it.

The added benefit is you can also get lots of diagnostic features in the JB4 + you can use the USB cable for uploading new firmware to the JB4 OR data logging to your laptop from the JB4 for tuning/trouble shooting. It's such a BARGAIN!!!
Gotta agree with fazz on this one , got the jb4 + cone + USB and that all the mods I have currently & and I gotta say it makes a hell of a difference in power , I'm gonna meet up with faz tomorrow so if anyone wanna wipp my car to see how it feels ur more than welcome

I'm sure other people could organize grass roots fun local meets up like this in an area near you. All it takes is one person willing to post up a "meet up". Nothing I have done has cost over $20 in materials. Each new local person has something to contribute usually and even they don't today... in the future they will learn and teach the others.

I even try to offer soda/water to people cuz it's warm in the sun around my place too. Wish I had space for a BBQ, that would be awesome!!!

Yeah, I have the N55 too...I am not sure what intake I would need. I'm thinking of the Cobb too, not just the JB4.

Faz is an amazing human being. Super nice fella, and had a shit ton of patience as Imran patiently helped me take off all my own parts and install my BMS intake.

I said it before and I'll say it again- Faz is a shining example of what the BMW community should be all about.

On a nicer day, we'll all go for a convertible ride Faz!

Wow this thing is loud lol! If I don't get used to the extra sound then I might sell this intake to ya Danny We'll see

Hi,

I honestly loved the way your car sounds... its a lot better sounding then my car to be honest. Power wise who knows... but sound wise and show/looks wise... you take the cake! I would love it if my car made all those cool sounds as I'm driving, mine is way too tame for my taste. I just didn't want to get on the boost much cuz my car was still warming up from it's cold start... but yours just has a sound that says "Yea, you wish this was your car..." Even that Eclipse was impressed as you drove by! hehehe

Well at least now I can add N55 Cone install to my list and once danny does the JB4... I can include the N55 JB4 install to my list of tasks I can teach.

Hey, I was thinking... we should do a lunch N' learn event with cars (I know lots of people do Cars and Coffee). I was thinking we go mess around with our cars and then about going to a neat lunch place in the area.

Hahaha yea while we were just wrapping up I got a text from her saying "5 min taking u 1 hr"... that's when I knew I needed to wrap it up

We actually had a great lunch at this new Thai place in New Brunswick, at first I was worried it was going to be super expensive cuz they had all these baller cars in the parking lot 1/3 the cars were like hondas and the other 2/3 cars were all 100k+ German cars Cayenne's/Mercs/etc

But the lunch specials were only like $13 so I was happy But awesome decor! Anyone interested in doing something on Saturday or Sunday over the long weekend? Like a "Lunch N Learn"?
