Do I Need New Aluminum Bolt Kit for VCG
Car is a 2006 BMW 325i (production date of July 2005). I purchased a new VCG from AutohausAZ and they also recommended purchasing the aluminum bolt kit. So I went ahead and purchased both. I previously read some threads where some say it's necessary to replace the bolts and some that say it's not. I tried searching but couldn't find any info.
I haven't replaced the VCG yet and was wondering if someone can help shed some light on whether or not the new bolt kit is required for my engine. Thanks in advance...

IMO, better to be safe than sorry. $30 in new bolts now can potentially mitigate hundreds/thousands of dollars worth of damage later.
