CHrome oil cap

Just installed a chrome oil cap to the engine to dress it up a little to compliment my polished UR CAI and Forge DV's.....Its a small piece but makes a world of a difference!! Ordered it from Jlevisw on 3-19 and received it today 3-21....Now thats fast service...Post some pics later

I was thinking now of chroming the engine cover where the oil cap is to finish the look and make it more uniform as far as chrome between the two sides of the engine bay! It should look pretty hot!

Looks nice. How do you keep your engine so clean? What do you clean it with? Do you cover anything in particular while washing it?

I would vote no on the chrome engine cover. Looks nice with the contrast.

I basically use some windex and small rag and occasionally wipe the engine bay...I do small areas at a time, get into every nook and crack as much as I can...Its the same as detailing, but not having to worry about paint swirls except for the chrome pieces use alcohol....As for the chrome engine cover, I needed to add some more chrome finish to the other side of the engine bay, so it will compliment the other side....I am thinking about it if it doesn't cost too much!!! I think it will look really good...There are many more pieces in the engine bay that will give it that constrast your speaking of!! I am getting a quote of what this will cost me....I let you guys know!
