Yeah you wouldn't want me SLAUGHTERING your M with my all-decimating AWD.

I should be at Canbec this Friday AM for oil change. I will be at Carlosport on Monday for brake fluid flush (Motul RBF 600) and a minor brake cooling mod. (Ahem, removing of stuff from the car isn't considered the same as purchasing a mod for the car, right?)

Then it's LCMT 3 days 6 - 7 - 8 August.

Tony you can remove me from all track events...I will not be getting an M until at least October .

That is unless we find one they have on the lot but we don't want a black car again (all they have), and the MCB one they have has a sunroof, is a 2010, and is used...so no.

F*&%ers @ BMW Boston will not refund unless they find a replacement. If anyone decides to go the 6th of August to that event, please mention you're replacing George with the LeMans Blue M3...so maybe I get some money back. ghey

Hey man, I was there tonight, the white M3 we raced. Your car is sick fast and looks amazing. The best I was able to do was a 13.1 not bad happy for my 1st time.

I am mostly looking into doing performance mods, I want to keep the look of the car as stock as possible. Work done on the engine like turbos would that void my warranty?
as far as I know, the only performance mods that I know of that MAY not void your warranty are AXLE-BACK exhausts, air filters, scoops, larger intake...wheels with wider rubber...and that's basically it

brake pads/brake lines/tune/supercharger/turbocharger/suspension mods/brake KIT/etc will void that part of the warranty. Full exhaust also, but that's not as black and white...depends on your dealer.

cosmetics are also fine like grills/gills/reflectors/lip/badge/trunk/etc....but obviously offer no performance gains.

I will take care of the changes. Too bad.

It is sad that they can't give you your $$ back, but it is quite clear when you sign up. So no surprises. And actually attendance to both events at LCMT (Quebec and Boston) is so low that they are both losing money at present time. I know they would have given you your money back if they had a reasonnable amount of participants.

If you have to pay for the mod, it's a mod

yeah but if you take a bunch of sewage pipes, lift your car up, chop off the exhaust and weld your own pipes on, it's free but it's still a mod. so be careful there.

So I will find out if it's a mod on Monday... Nevermind, I've decided it's a mod.

So stickers, cg-lock, brighter headlights, SS Brake Lines and now more cooling to the brakes by the suppressing of little plastic pieces. My mod list is getting out of hand. I will need to go to Modders Anonymous soon.

you know, i'm not against that, it just bothers me that it's like 200 bucks when it's essentially a sliced can of coke jerryrigged into your engine.

it's ok, since it's in laval, you could probably hire some local chicken/horse farmer to give you a lift on his noble steed to this "centropolis" location.

You can find eBay equivalents for under $75. The key is to find one that has baffles (or worse case stainless steel) inside to help with condensation.

The ones for sale at E90post are ridiculously priced.

agree.

well, since you seem to be having issues with your riff raff racing one, perhaps we can both get one at the same time and then do a joyous twosome install of it.
