e90 lost all electrics
Hey,
wondering if anyone else has had issues with 06 320i (4 cyl) electrics? 1st issue is head lights flicker. 2nd sometime after push button press to turn car off and before fob key release all electrics dies then when you open door and slam it you can then release key. 3rd hasn't in a while but would stall at lights. thanks for any possible advice.

Sounds like its electrical related. alternator or an old battery?
IF the battery is 4+ years old try a new fresh battery or go to an auto electrician who can run some tests to diagnose it |

Headlight flicker can be caused by a number of things. The ballast of the bulb, poor contacts or other bulbs replaced which are not the correct specifications.
Stalling at stop would unlikely to be attributed to a battery. Again many things can cause engine stall - coils, fuel delivery etc. A one year old battery regardless of being registered or not is an unlikely culprit. Try and locate a member in your area who has diagnostic equipment or visit a BMW dealer to determine fault codes. |

Sounds more like a faulty ibs than our first prediction since you mentioned that you have replaced battery/alternator a year ago.. diagnosis will say as ken mentioned.. sorry to hear mate

Thanks everyone.
I put it on the scanner and no codes and the battery you don't need to register in this model but going to have a look over it tomorrow and test the coils and check the earth & fuse box until I get it booked in.
