Anyone around Northamptonshire area able to enable the TV function on a CIC retrofit?
I've added the Fiscube digital TV tuner which comes with a dongle to code it automatically, but as its retrofitted it won't find the CIC to do it.
I'm hoping manually enabling it will sort it

Can do, based in Tunbridge Wells. Alpina flash only available for 35i 6 speed autos though.

Not NW, but a friend of mine Craig (his user name is: Wibbles) has one in the NE.

He will be updating my CIC very soon to unlock all the features of my newly installed Combox

Im just debating to whether i ACTUALLY need BMW apps. I dont have an iOS device (nor do I intend to!) and I dont use spotify. Hmmmm....

Me neither but I just got it done, for future in case I ever decide to use it

Android has it too and it worked when I had spotify but i don't really use it to be honest. The best thing is the bluetooth connectivity and the fact it shows the track name on the idrive

I didn't think BMW Apps worked with Android?

Other than Spotify, did any other apps work? Web radio?

you don't get any android functionality that is of use. no Web radio, no Spotify... it's bollocks if you're an android user, which I am.

Spotify does work, but you play it on the phone, it works as if its AUX. The track name didn't show up and the iDrive bugged out and was showing the last track played from the normal music app but was playing songs from spotify.

I have a iPhone aswell so I can use it when I want but i store all my music etc on the samsung so a weird situation for me.
