Ps1 Tuning Potential

Need some opinions pls. I have a e92 xdrive n55 with the following mods

- VRSF catless dp
- VRSF 5" stepped FMIC (HD)
- AFE sealed intake
- ER Chargepipe
- Eurocharged Tune
- XHP Stage 3 transmission tune

In hand but not installed yet, I have a pure stage 1 turbo, inlet and dv+, snow perf stage 2 meth kit . I'd like to get a new tune to adjust for the new turbo. Currently car makes 339 awhp and 442 ft-lbs on Canadian 94 (acn91) and on a Dynojet

Anyone running a similar setup on the ps1 and if so, what tune are you using and any dyno numbers you can provide?

**Note: Will not change to ps2 as I got the ps1 for a low price and is the choice I've made

On 94 with methanol and xDrive I would guess you'll be around 375 awhp. Some people have said that the 93 you have up there is has less knock due to a higher ethanol content. Obviously this isn't something I can test since I do not live up there.

Interesting, I was under the impression that the best rated Canadian gas CAD94 is still terrible compared to various octane US gas and therefore there are specific OTS maps for it ie. Acn91 maps on MHD

I have the exact same car and setup. I am on my first revision with Ken at wedge performance. He thinks we can get 400awhp.

You might have better quality 94 than Western Canada. I've seen a few logs from Toronto folks that were clean on 93 OTS tunes.

Expect about a 40whp bump. It's a nice difference that pays pretty well in terms of dollar/whp especially if you scoop one used for cheap and install it yourself.

That's interesting, I guess I'll have to try it, log it and adjust accordingly

Dang, I have the eurocharged tune on mine too and am happy to see you make such big numbers. Very impressive for a stock turbo n55.

Love the way the car pulls, but definitely falls flat after about 5000 rpm. Downshifting on the highway and accelerating needs some more on the top end. It's the main reason I'm going with a PS1
