Coding in CD Changer with Professional HiFi for Mobridge add
Hi everyone. I've got an 09 E92 with the Professional HU that has Assist, Bluetooth, Voice commands but, not the CD changer. I'd like to add CD changer functionality to the HU so I can add a mobridge so that I can play audio from a HDD.
Has anyone here recoded the HiFi HU to add CD changer functionality? Thanks. |

Oh wait, you don't have nav do you? Sorry.
I was able to add CDC functionality in 2URAD by adding $672 to the VO and coding CAS and FRM - let the car sleep and it will usually show in your list of sources. You'll need NCSExpert or someone with it to do it this way. your dealer can also activate CDC options in Radio Professional. |

NCSExpert is free - the cable will run you ~$80 last I checked. It is really worth your time/effort to get into coding so you don't have to be reliant on dealers/coders.

There are also links to the K+DCAN cable you purchase to work with it. |

$672 is the Vehicle Order code for the CDC (you will also have to remove $694 which is the CDC prep code) VO means vehicle order, may be listed as FA in NCS (which is the program) CAS is your car access module and FRM is your footwell module. All info is on here just read up. Quote:

Sorry I missunderstood, $672 shows up in the VO list for both ECU after adding
One thing I am not sure about is that "MP3_CCC full" shows up in the CAS but not in the 2URAD module |
