Universal sports cat to pass Emissions

Hi All,

So the car is 335i (N54), Primary cats removed, Still got stock Secondary cats. Car failed on co, Max is 0.20 My been 0.6, 0.25 & 0.5. The car was up to temp each time.

I was thinking to cut the exhaust & add another cat just to see if that will get it through the emissions test.

Anyone got any other options.

Thanks

Got an MOT two years running on a B&M 200cell sports CAT on my Vectra B. Predated type approval so no problem there, car used to run mega rich (factory bad mapping) and as I say it lasted two years of full time fitment. Didn't make 3 though.

Shouldn't fail emissions just with primaries gone. Try taking the motor for a hard drive just before the retest. I, like most, have catless and have passed mot for the last 5yrs.

All sorted, It ended up being o2 sensors, they was block up, so car was running very rich, took them out, got rid of all the build up of them, CO ready now is less than 0.1
