not saying its not the latest but my pump says 7615617-03 and its at least 2 years old and is playing up now.
As far as I know the latest starts with 7616 Have a look under google images looks like they repackaged an older pump in a new box Just because the box says the new part number doesn't mean the pump is. I could be wrong but the numbers don't add up I'm getting a new pump on Monday going to have a look and post it up for you. According to an article on these forums the latest as of jan 2015 is 7616170 Last edited by martymil; 05-09-2015 at 12:58 AM.. |

Sorry forgot about this thread I got the same part number as you guys, guess I got an older pump too but it works for now
Sneaky of bmw to rebox their pumps I got a sneaky suspicion they fixed what was wrong with their pumps and now are trying to off load all their old stock first |

Hpfp #13-51-7-616-170
Sorry to post on an 8-year dead thread, but perhaps my experience will be useful to those who Google and find this thread in the future.
Here it is Dec 2023 and I just bought a HPFP from my local BMW dealer for a 2011 BMW 535xi. While its an N55 engine, the 2011 model still uses the N54 type HPFP. The dealer's box is marked 13-51-7-616-170, but inside was a brand new looking pump labeled 7613933-05. Therefore, I don't think the previous posters got ripped off, got old stock or anything like that. Searching on other forums and images I never saw a pump labeled 7616170. I wonder if that is simply BMW's pseudo-number for "Latest HPFP". I see in other threads that people received 76113922-03 around 2011, then "-04" around 2015 and now in 2023 I received a "-05".
