Driver Seat Issue

Hi guys,

Now I know the debate of the E9X seats being comfortable/uncomfortable has been done to death but i'm wondering if I may have a different issue.

My driver seat seems as though the rear part of the seat base is too low. Of course I can raise and lower the front part of the seat but it feels like the rear needs to be raised up a bit to meet the seat-back - which can't be done.

Is this normal or is the seat base worn?

I'm considering buying a "replacement base upholstery" but don't want to waste my money if it wont make a difference (obviously)

Any thoughts?

Hi.

Do you have any pics of the seat? I never found it to feel too low at the rear on either the standard sport seat or M3 one I replaced it with.

The performance seats I now have again feel fine.

Any way you can try another E9* seat in a fellow members car local to you or see if there’s a car for sale local again to test out.

Hope that helps.
