lowering 328i
Hi All,
I have a 2007 328i. My rims are 19" (AXS-520-995-40MH-PEN & AXS-520-985-35MH-PEN). My tire is toyo, size 245/35/19 front and 275/30/19 for the rear. I want to lower it but I don't know the right measurement. Can anybody advise me the following? 1. What is the best measurement for lowering it? 2. Do I need a new shocks? 3. Does it void my warranty? Thank you in advance. |

1. I'm not quite sure what you mean by this. Most lowering is measured in inches, ie : 1.2" lowering.
2. You don't have to buy new shocks, but your factory shocks won't make the most out of the lowering springs in regards to ride and handling...also they'll wear out more quickly. This would be a bit less of a concern if you have a sport package car. 3. Nope. BMW cannot void your entire warranty simply because you lowered your car.
