Where can I find a replacement for the DME - Alternator Wire

Hello Everyone,

The power line to my alternator burned through the purple wire connecting to the voltage regulator on the alternator. I read that it connects to the DME. Does anyone know what I can do to repair it or where I may find another one? I believe it is causing the intermittent charging malfunction error as the wire is slowly fading into the darkness.
