Cant Decide On New Tyres

Hey Guys,

Currently got bridgestone potenza runflats on my E93 330d M Sport

Front - 225.35.R19
Rear - 255.30.R19

I cant decide on which Non runflats to go for

Vredestein Ultrac sessanta / Vorti

or

Uniroyal Rainsport 3

Would you guys choose any of these or go for something different?

Cheers

I'm debating the same thing when mine need changing.

My preference is the ultrac sessanta at the moment because they have good handling credentials and they're quieter than most others which is good for me given I spend 70% of time on the motorway.

Had Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta on all 4 corners on my E46 M3 and loved them to bits. Great handling in dry and wet, and comparatively cheap compared to the big boys.

Road noise was minimal as well. I will be putting these on my 330i when the currents need replacing.

Can't advise you on what sizes you would need, as i don't know your full setup, but why would you need spacers if you went with Vreds?

Are you lowered?

Garage List
I had Conti SportContact 5s on last but the rears wore very fast and not very evenly. I've just ordered a pair of Vortis to replace the rears with and am expecting good things. If you compare the treadwear rating for similar tyres, the Vortis are way out ahead, even from the Sessantas.

I've tried Goodyear Assy 2's, Vreds and Michellin Pilot Super Sports.

Hands down the PSS are the best for grip. Feel so sticky even in the rain, and i push my car hard in the rain.

vreds do come in those sizes... i love my vreds, definitely feel the difference in the car and i've run potenzas, toyos, pirellies and falkens...

i was thinking to get them rainsports but they're not much cheaper than the vreds and the vreds were no risk... although the rainsports do have some good reviews... ooo and the vred vortis have some mad reviews... but the tread is boring lolll....

No don't need to. I mean instead of 225 tyres go for 235. It adds a lip around your alloys for protection.

I have 2 nearly new Michelin PSS tyres for £200

PSS everyday, i can push my car standard 335d m sport as hard as i feel possible for road and it never fails to get round the corner without scare, never have DSC on as it pisses me off trying to cut the power when i hit a bump mid corner

on the track again they are excellent even in last mondays awful wet day
