I have a 2011 335d with 193 rims and was thinking of putting the same size rim all around the car....Will this noticeably change the ride and or handling of the vehicle? Was thinking of keeping the orig. 193's and putting the 18 x 8 (fronts) all around.....Or could I put the 18 x 8.5 (rears) all around? Thanks

Hi Doug - I once considered doing the exact same thing. I have m sport so I already had staggered set of 193m on car. I really wanted to go square and enable tire rotations.

My plan was to buy another pair of rear 18x8.5ET37 wheels. I got to digging around and realized these wheels were pretty heavy and the offset was too far in for the fronts unless you run some spacers. My guess is 10 or 12 mm for fronts. I believe with no spacers they might rub the strut. Easy way for you to check is to test fit one of your rear wheels to front and see the inboard gap. I stacked up 3 flat washers per stud to simulate a 5 mm spacer and it then cleared. DO NOT DRIVE CAR with the washers in place.

I instead opted to go Apex SM-10 18x9ET30 all around. These guys are lite at 19.5 lb per wheel without tire. The 193m rear is 26.3 lb without tire.

I wish I could upvote posts. BB_Cuda is right on the money. Staggered is nice to look at but rotating tires is way better for tire life, lol.

The rears will fit on the front and front on the rear (though very inset). As mentioned, factory wheels are ridiculously heavy and some good aftermarket wheels will be far cheaper than the oem... Unless you somehow manage to find a pair used, locally.
