Coding from hell - ISTA P - Car issue!!

Hi Guys,

Car - BMW e90 320d 2011 (11 Plate) UK
Cable - K+Dcan USB interface
Sofwtare - INPA - Ista d/p

This is my first post, please take it easy on me.

I have recently downloaded the ISTA D program which I got to say is an excellent application for troubleshooting my BMW e90, 320d 2011, no issue whatsoever when running it. it's worked fine for past few weeks.

Which then led me to download and install the ISTA P, thinking the interface is straight forward, to navigate and to program your vehicle, how wrong I was.

Now, I got, to be honest, I was not familiar with the layout so I was clicking away, it was taking too long to run something, so I exited. Now the car won't start, lock, above light, won't turn off either.

I have tried connecting it up to Inpa and it is not picking up the data I would usually see there under error code.

it picks up

ADR GEN name Job Status
00 JBBF ERROR_ECU_SERVICE_NOT_SUPPORTED

Under info -

Control Unit Description File - E89x
control Unit - Funktionale Jobs fur E87,E90
Version - 1.77
Package - 1.44
Responsibility - BMW TI-430 Drexel
Language - deutsch

When trying to run it in ISTA D - it does not detect the car.

looking at my instrument cluster, the gage, the fuel it showing half a tank when the key has been removed.

I have managed to get the car started by holding the start button for 5-10 second at the same time, pressing the clutch down. When I try to accelerate the gauge does not move at all.

Can anyone advise me what to do next and what shall I check to get this backup and running? Thank you in advance.

Is there anyway I can get the car reset back to default setting, Please help?

Now both windows are not going up and the fuel gauge is now 0.

The small screen under neath clock, which displays the mileage and MPG is blank.
I have contacted my breakdown cover to see if they can switch the internal car light off, stopping me from getting a dead battery, and to shut my window.

Can someone please help me on this one?

I can take a look if you want. You have team viewer installed???

Also, have you a battery charger or power supply?

And sometimes patience is very important especially when it comes to programming a car.
Even for us at work, ISTA/P is not something you would want to mess with or suddenly interrupt.

What exactly were you doing or trying to do? At what point did it appear dead?
Does ISTA/P detect the car?

What a nightmare - the car is now back up and running.

Somehow all my module was deleted/ missing. This has now been restored.

I want to say big thank you so much for 'Sensible' who gave me his time support and knowledge through this ordeal. He helped me with missing file and his personal time, by connecting to my machine to sort it out. Thank you so much!

And very big huge shout out for my main man "Dylan" who has got my car starting back to normal in 15 minutes - Any issue guys Dylan is your man from Bimmergeeks - His expertise skill/knowledge is fantastic. Excellent asset to have on this forum. Thank you once again!

Rest assured I will be deleting Ista P tonight, as it far advances for me as I am a beginner.

PS. I did purchase the car Battery pack at the end, now good night lol.
