Different OEM Battery Grades
I've been looking into replacing my batter since the car has around 63K on it now and I believe it's the original battery. When searching on BMW's battery search, I found that there are 3 grades of battery.
Standard Battery: For Vehicles with basic option packages 61212353803 61212353804 61212353806 Advanced Battery For vehicles with options that require more advanced batteries and power options. 61212353808 61212353810 61212353811 61212353813 Performance Battery For high powered and advanced vehicles that require additional power due to vehicle options, specifications and custom configurations. 61212353812 Does anyone know when the upper grades are necessary? Basically what features or packages require the higher output? I want to make sure I get the correct battery, because the model number on my current battery don't match any of the numbers above.

match the amp hours and battery type as closely as you can.
I have an interstate 49/H8 which exceeds the 90 ah lead acid I had been in there for 4 years now. |
