The mods you listed are a good start. Def switch to LUX or comparable bulbs. I'd say Tint, and either coils or shock/strut combo. If you plan to murder out your car, powder coat your rims and get some bigger exhaust tips, in black to complete the look.

No worries. Most of us 335 owners are young professionals in the mid twenties. I think there was a poll about it recently. Alot of IT, Engineering, and Military folk.

Make sure you come back around with pics and keep us updated on the mods.

Sheesh no one even bothered to ask which year you're getting. We talkin N54? Beware of those early 07s. I got a late manf date 07 and no issues yet but I've heard some pretty horrific stories.

I'll be sure to keep you guys updated and is it possible to post pictures on this with an iphone? And it's a 2010 so I don't have to worry about those problems with the 07

Scarface when i was 16 my dad bought me a 2005 e46 325i with 18k miles ( he was driving a honda accord lol ) I was so happy that i would lean against my car with friends after school and smoke for 2 hours so that anybody leaving cud see my car lol thats just how you think when your at that age.
But I had respect for him and my car. Never crashed it and no major issues as well. Car got 100k miles on it now and guess what its my dads car now since i got a good job in summer and bought a 335i a few months ago btw Im 21 now.
Now my advice is treat your car well and dont fuck it up and dont let your dad regret buying it in any way

As far as the mods dont worry this forum is full of info on that!

Thanks for the advice ultimate, I'm gonna treat it like a baby, and I know it's full of mods I just wanted some direct pictures but I also enjoy hearing what other people got as a first car, that's a very good first car I'm sure it was a lot of fun having that at a young age

Goodluck with the car. It's one of the best "first car" anyone could ever have.

Goodluck OP. My 335i was my second car (i drove an 85 CJ7 for a couple months) before i found the 335i i wanted. Sorry you couldnt find a 6MT, your missing out, man.

I suggest you buy a radar detector (9500ix) ASAP. Its by far my greatest investment in my car. Its saved my ass from stupid tickets (~7mph over or so) from both laser and Ka signals. I got it after my first warning (20 over), and now that i have it, i rarely speed.

My tip to you: take it easy, drive her tamely, so that when you DO want to go fast, it feels like its ripping. I used to beat the hell out of my car, and i felt like she was slow. I bought a Procede and DPs and it fixed the speed-urge for a few months, but no cigar. Now i drive calmly until i want to wiggle the rear end, and it feels like a Ferrari. BTW, im 17.5 now, had the car 19-20 months, not a single ticket.

Hey man f*#k all the haters. All you need for this car is a set of coilovers and a nice set of wide aggressive wheels. And slap on the Arkym cf lip for the front and your golden

Just googled that thing, looks like it'd be a good investment, basically pays for itself over time, thanks man

i honestly don't understand why those people even bother to comment.. is it just because they're bored or out of poor jealousy? I got a 328xi as well and yes i am 16, but that doesnt mean that I'm as stupid as most of the teenagers at my age. Maybe we should try to answer the actual question and not dick around ô.o Would appreciate some pictures man and congrats, keep good care of that baby
