Chances my car will be on fedora?
So my car build date 6-6, is awaiting transport. How long did it take for you guys to get a car on a ship. (east coast deliveries) This is the worst part. I really hope my car will be on the fedora. Maybe some of the 6-1 guys can chime in here. Is your car on a ship yet?

It takes roughly 4-5 days to get to the port.
Once there 3 to 15 days to catch a boat depending upon your luck and destination. Currently I am waiting at Bremerhaven........

http://www.2wglobal.com/www/WEP/index.jsp (select cargo tracking/auto) however, from what I read, the VIN will only show up a couple of days after the ship has left if it's not on a WW ship, I think the dealer can obtain the info BTW, according to the webcam, the Fedora and the Western Highway are still docked at Bremerhaven; it's 5pm there, they sure are taking there time! hey, what the heck, the schedule now says the Fedora will arrive in Halifax on the 26th; yesterday, it said the 24th

The WW schedules have been shifting around. They originally had at least one or two ships heading to Charleston this month that aren't now. Not sure what's going on there.
Anyway, I finished production on 6/2 and I think was at the port on 6/6. Not sure which boat I'll be on, but with a PCD of 7/10, I'm hoping it is either the Fedora or Western Highway. Otherwise, it's cutting it awful close...

9pm local Bremhaven time, both ships still in port and showing no sign of leaving
on the other hand, I saw no noticeable change in the quantity of cars sitting in front of those vessels... it seems like an incredible quantity of vehicles...

In transit........
The boats are gone now.......I think I made it on the fedora as the automated phone tracker has just switched me to in-transit. I had a production date of 6/4 and made it to the dock at 6/9 or earlier. Civ95 you hopefully should have made it too since our cars made it to Bremerhaven at about the same time.

Wow, arter, you done good. I finished on 6/2 and I think was there by 6/6, but according to the 800#, I'm still awaiting transit. I'm hoping that means I'm on Western Highway and K-Line is just slower to update the system.

Hey Mike, was your car not built in SA? It was a sedan built in Germany?

in the worst case, I figure I'll be on the Madame Butterly which leaves in a week but has a more direct route to Halifax and arrives only 4 days after the Fedora still... Madame Butterfly (1981) is quite an old bucket compared to ultra-modern Fedora (2008)... not sure I trust it to carry my car over the Atlantic... http://www.2wglobal.com/www/pdf/FleetInternet.pdf
