Just getting the VA HH is a big step.
Changing the date might not be that easy
but changing the place is easy.

It has nothing to do with options... Just wish that some of the meets would be outside the beltway...

There's Zodiac in Gaithersburg (Kentlands), Green Turtle in Columbia.
We tried in DC once and it failed miserably. The few NCC held in VA failed miserably as well. I think the key is regular meets. 1st, 2nd, 3rd Thursday of each month. This way people get into the routine. There is no reason why the 4th Thursday of the month couldn't be somewhere else.

Maybe its just chosen profession, but it is hard for me to make the drive in to DC on weekdays and make it back out at a reasonable hour...
