Just kidding, I bought a single.

Fuck that noise.

Single turbo install party. June 1-3rd Acton MA.

I bought a big boy turbo:

ACF ST Kit w/ Twin Scroll 6466 customized with the T51R mod + polished compressor housing + ceramic coated black manifold and exhaust housing.

Feel free to swing buy and help turn a wrench or watch the install/talk shop on June 1st or 2nd. The 3rd is only needed if something gets fun. My guess is most people will show on Staurday the 2nd. The local scene is kind of dead on this platform so feel free to swing by as there will be a few of us working on the install who all own modified 335Is etc. I'll be supplying the pizza, water/soda/beer, etc.

Goal is to be running by Saturday night on my motiv custom tune running 93 + meth. Goal is around 600whp and to DD the shit out of it on nice days.

My BBK is not for sale if anyone was going to ask(Bo).

Oh, I'll also be installing:

ADV 02 Sensors: https://www.motivmotorsport.com/prod...ensors-bmw-n54

Motiv BoostBox: https://www.motivmotorsport.com/prod...-boost-box-bmw

7.5 VRSF Race Intercooler: http://www.vr-speed.com/vrsf-7-5-ste...2-e90-e92.html

Fancy LED fog lights: https://www.theretrofitsource.com/le...C51355%2C51808

New water pump, belt, and pulleys while I am in there doing all of this ST work. Car already has a new VC, plugs, eldor coilpacks, index 12 injectors w/ filter & heat compensating fluid, you name it. All maintenance has been done in under 5k miles.

For sale, pick them up same day for discounts:

1) Helix FMIC. It was professionally pressure tested by Farley@Eurotech literally 5 miles driven on it.

2) CPE downpipes I had off last year and were in great shape. I have almost like brand new v band clamps for them as well.

3) Used(82k work perfectly) boost solenoids

4) Brand new boost solenoids installed for 5 miles

5) DCI and DCI filters I think I have at least 2 full sets

6) Plenty of other odds and ends

My buddy wants to cook out so it looks like I'll bring over my smoker and make something or another. Maybe some brisket and a pork shoulder.

I'll be starting around 8-9am until it is done. Drop by whenever, your help will be appreciated. If everything goes as planned the stock turbos will be off and the water pump replaced by Saturday morning. So it's just bolting everything up for the ST for the most part.

Feel free to bring some meat for the grill if you want. I think the smoker will be full regarding meat. You don't have to bring anything unless you want to. I plan on feeding everyone who shows up to help.

Just finished installing a new water pump myself, third time installing one but first time installing it preemptively. I'm installing downpipes too so why not..

If anyone in the RI area needs this done, I can help you out!

Do you already have the downpipes? I'll have cpe off the car if you want them for a fair price.

Assuming I get done at a reasonable time(which i doubt) we could do yours. But realistically you can have fun in the driveway. I have enough jacks and stands etc. Just throwing it out there. Help on swapping the water pump would surely be appreciated.

Damn that would have been convenient, I bought some VRSF DPs a couple weeks ago. I'm installing those tonight along with the VRSF 7" FMIC I had on my last N54, I already have the stock parts out.

Replacing the water pump was so much easier without downpipes or an intercooler in the way, I recommend pulling those off first since you're going to be replacing them anyway. Do you have to pull the bumper for the 7.5" FMIC? That also makes the whole process a lot easier.

I always pull the bumper for a fmic install. It takes me like 10 with power tools. So much easier to cut and get everything on right.

Thanks for the tips the turbos, downpipes, ic will all be out when I do it so hopefully plenty of room.

Install starts tonight!

My X5 is fucked and at BMW right now.

So, if this is not buttoned up and running by Saturday I will own 2 cars that I can't drive I call that motivation. I also fly out to Chicago on Sunday for the week for work.

Doesn't look too bad

Godspeed. I'm in the middle of a walnut blast + oil filter housing gasket replacement myself, was hoping to get this all buttoned up by Friday so I could come help but I'm still waiting on some parts from FCP Euro. Gonna be tight, wish I planned on replacing the OFH gasket earlier.

Great. The more the merrier. 9am or later is perfect.

It's says 50% chance of rain right now. Hopefully it is not too bad. I do have a garage, btw this install is taking place at my parents house as my garage would be impossible to do this in basically. Also all my tools are there. The drive way is good sized but if anyone arrives and it is full you can park across the street at my neighbors house. Large stone wall in front of it with trees on top upward sloping driveway. Do not block the right side garage door and it will be fine.

As far as an update I have the downpipes off. So I guess I have that going for me. Still a ton of work to do. Back to werk.
