Either that or perhaps you have to upgrade the DME to an MSD81.

The mosfets you have now are FDB 14N30??
open the dme check the mosfets they are ok FDB 14N30
I think you need to upgrade your DME.

Something is not right in your current DME; it's probably one of your PSU's.

I’m having similar issues in my 2007 335i. I’m in the process upgrading my DME to MSD81. I checked everything else, similar to the person who started this thread. It would have been great if he updated this thread if he ever found the problem.

My DME was defective, i picked up another MSD80 and had it cloned with my stock DME's programming. For more details about all the troubleshooting i did, please see my original thread. (hope this helps you out)

I see, i'm pretty sure i just found out the my problem aswell, after i put in the repaird DME i now for some reason can see fault codes that i didnt see before, it's telling me that o2 sensor 2 got a fault. That code wasnt there before i sent the DME to repair. Ive seen one guy on youtube who had the exactly same problem, he could not see codes aswell but after his DME got repaird he could. i Will change the o2 sensor and see.
