Airbag Codes 93AE & 93AF
Hey guys got lightly rear ended a few days ago, hardly any damage but my airbag light came on and threw codes 93ae and 93af. It shows it's an active headrest airbag issue and Ive researched and it seems like the only option I have is to replace both headrests even though the airbags never deployed? Was wondering if it's possible to code this instead and if it was safe to do so? Thanks!

Will the airbag light blink when the car first starts or will it be permanently off? I'm asking because my car has to pass inspection and if they see that the airbag light is not turning on they'll assume I covered the light or something

Hello, my car is showing 93AE, which correspond to active headrestrait left, but the thing is that the car doesnt have active headrest and airbag light is ON, i clear and stays good for 1 or 2 days, i tryed to disable by ncsexpert changing AKS_LINKS_1_CD to nich aktiv in ABG module, but when i do this the light comes on instant maybe i need to code other thing? thanks |

Did anyone figure this out? I have a 2012 E70 with the same problem. I have tried using NCS Expert, but haven't figured out what to change - changing AKS-LINKS-C20 from aktiv to nicht-activ didn't help. Any one got an idea? Thanks.
