BMW 335i loss low end power.

Hi guys. I'm new to the forum

I have a e92 335i n54 m Sport. With a stage 1 MHD plus tune on it. Upgrade charge pipe. Everything else is stock.

The car has been fine for a month of owning it. Boost would come on hard at 2400rpm with a crap ton of low end torque.

I started the car today and noticed a huge loss of low end power. The exhaust sounds like it's straining and has changed in note. Kind of like a restricted sound. Boost comes on hard at top end but feel like it takes a while to get there.

I've pulled some logs on MHD app and I can see I'm not even close to reaching boost target at 2krpm but I eventually reach boost target by 4krpm.

Am I able to post the logs here? Any help would be appreciated.

Did you pull any error codes? Sounds maybe like a boost leak.

I would put the stock tune back on and see if the problem is still there. That will help you eliminate one major factor as the possible cause.

Once the power/turbos start providing more boost, is the power of the engine the same as it was before this problem? i.e. once you get above a certain RPM and the power returns, is it the same as it was before this problem?

Thanks for the reply guys

No, the boost comes in a linear fashion now and no where near what it was before. Sporadically it will come on kind of hard at around 4krpm but the engine and exhaust sounds restricted and fatigued. I can't really explain it.

The car use to have a crap ton of torque and the exhaust sounded incredible. I could easily roll on in 3rd gear and spin the wheels. Now it will big and feels lazy and sounds terrible. Even when I'm stationary and rev the car it sounds and feels lazy and unresponsive.

I've switched back to standard map and issue is still there.
