Plastic/rubber tray lifting and coming off bottom of windshield
Hey you guys so I am now looking at another N54 335i to replace my crashed E92. And I found this 2010 E90 335i Msport which is in good condition in general except for the wheels and tires.
But do you guys know what in the world is happening to this part on the bottom of the windshield? Worried this might mean a bent frame or something. Didn't notice any bent anything in the engine bay though.

That looks just like my cowl! The rubber is all cracked and gummy and it's not flush with the windshield. One time I must have bumped it and went to a carwash and had a mini waterfall under my glovebox, but after wiggling the cowl and reaseating it, it doesn't leak any more. Still looks like crap though.
The Germans don't do a very good job of choosing the right plastics and rubbers to last. |
