Hey Guys!

First DIY here so bare with me. I believe we all take pride in saving money with our vehicles; especially when it comes to repairs. I purchased a JB4 Stage 2 for a N55 car. Seller noted that the boost solenoid connector was broken which seems to be pretty common. Sounds like BMS is trying to save as much money as possible on these things. So, without further wait!

I found a replacement connector on Amazon that came with replacement terminals. $7.99 shipped with Prime. If you don't have Prime already, you need to get with the show. It's hard to find cheaper parts and items with shipping elsewhere. Plus, Grand Tour.

Take two paper clips and insert at the top and bottom as shown below. As you can see the connector just continued to turn into rubble.



Push the wire forward and pull back. It might take a couple of tries; you'll get it! You're a big boy.



I know what your thinking.. "Can I just insert these into my new connector?"

YES!!!!



DONE!

Why didn't I just buy the connector from ECS? It's cheaper right? Well that didn't come with new terminals and shipping would've pushed it past $7.99. The terminals that are used on the BMS connector are not OEM. I ordered the OEM connector and wasn't able to use the terminals; I wasn't about to pay another shipping charge for terminals.

There you go! Now you don't have to splice and solder new wires onto your harness AND you don't have to pay $15 dollars plus shipping on a harness fix.
