Error code 2e0f E92 n55
Hello all
I'm a new member abd this is my first post. I recently bought an E92 335i n55 manual. I did a fault code check with and to my disappointment the software displayed 2 errors error. The one I'm want to know about is 2e0f, it's something to do with the valvetronic system... As I got the car recently I haven't noticed any issues, or I don't know how it felt before the issue started. Only thing I might notice is a slight rough idle, around every 6or 7 seconds the is a slight shake or hiccup. I'm not sure if this is normal or not. In terms of power I have no idea if it has lost power or not... I've read a few things, from people saying to replace the motor, to disable it and to re initialise it. I like the idea of re initialising it and would be the cheapest 😋 Does any one have experice of what happens when this part is faulty and what is the first fix to try? Thank you in advance here is a print off of the inpa print of below Date: 18.08.2019 16:01:04 Model: E89X Scope: all control module JobStatus: OKAY Quantity: 23 ----------------------------------------------------------------- ADR Gen. name JobStatus Number of errors Error code Kind of error 00 JBBF OKAY No Error stored 01 MRS OKAY No Error stored 12 DME/DDE OKAY 1 Error stored 2E0F 60 17 EKP OKAY No Error stored 29 DSC OKAY No Error stored 36 TEL/MULF OKAY No Error stored 40 CAS OKAY No Error stored 41 DWA OKAY No Error stored 50 SINE OKAY 1 Error stored 9D12 11 56 FZD OKAY No Error stored 60 KOMBI OKAY No Error stored 61 FBI OKAY No Error stored 62 MOSTGW OKAY No Error stored 63 MASK/CCC OKAY No Error stored 64 PDC OKAY No Error stored 67 ZBE OKAY No Error stored 6D FAS OKAY No Error stored 6E BFS OKAY No Error stored 72 FRM OKAY No Error stored 73 CID OKAY No Error stored 78 KLIMA OKAY No Error stored 92 VIRTSG92 OKAY No Error stored A0 CCC OKAY No Error stored |

It will simplify your problem by giving you a better detailed error code. Which will help you identify the issue

Hello
So I got mhd and ran the code checker, it came up with the same code, it was the only code that come up. "2eof - valvetronic system deactivated, adjustment fault too frequent" What should I do? |

After too many faults to the DME it will throw this code.

This sounds expensive, I read somewhere that relearning the valvetronic motor might help. How do you do that...

But honestly, you need to go to a indy shop or find a mechanic who can help diagnose/fix these issues. Regardless of pinpointing out the problem online, You'll still need to get the work done.

Hello, so anyone that is having this same code, I ended up downloading ista, and did a recalibration of the valvetronic! It completely fixed the code! Do kot go to a machanic, do the diagnostic yourself and try to fix yourself first because you will get ripped the hell off! I got quoted like 600-800 for them to fix this issue!
