Goodridge braided brake hoses group buy e9x all models inc m3
Is anyone interested in some of these hoses for their e90s? EDIT: THESE ARE NOW GOING TO BE 'HEL' KITS INSTEAD OF GOODRIDGE - same quality just different brand.
I've decided to tackle this head on myself now just to see how far I can get dealing direct with HEL (I might even try Goodridge too) Obviously the more people we get the better the price will be. I don't have an idea what the price will be until I present them with numbers. What I need to know from EVERYONE is: EXACT model of car (eg e90 320d ES, or e92 325i SE etc etc) and also your preferred colour of kit. Having just spoken to HEL they have advised that some cars have a 4 line kit and some have 6 line kits - the example they gave me is that the 318d has a 6 line kit but the 320d has a 4 line kit (odd I know but that's how it is) I'm going to start a new list below please find your username and copy and paste the list with your car model number (e90/1/2/3 AND spec ES, SE, M Sport) and preferred colour 1.Dino355 – e90 330i SE, preferred colour: Yellow Clear 2.idnan – e92 335i M Sport Preferred colour: Yellow 3.Mike in Hampshire 2006 E92 335i SE, preferred colour: Clear 4.1 AKY – e90 330d M Sport 5.m3gkr – 335d M Sport 6.Laney – e90 330d M Sport - Preferred colour: Clear 7.DarkAnt335i – e92 335i 8.RagingKileak – 2009 E92 335i M-Sport Highline 9.nicktyler – 335i 10.Yoro35i – e92 335i M Sport 11.parapaul – e91 330d M Sport - Yellow 12.Danny.B – e90 330d M Sport 13.HeavyRightFoot – e92 335i M Sport 14.Mr Singh – e91 330d M Sport Preferred colour: Clear 15.shej – 330d 16.GjrBartlett – e90 320d SE 17.shortie – 320i M Sport 18.T80RNY – e92 320d M Sport 19.Mastermixlee – e92 335i 20.jclariel – e92 335i 21.Amr85amr – 335d 22.Rudz – e90 320d M Sport 23.B005T3D-G – e92 335i SE 24.onetwentie – e91 330d M Sport 25.seanblee 26.Billyray911 - e91 335d Msport - Preferred colour:Clear 27.Phil200tdi – e90 335i M Sport 28.NotNormal 29.Khurmit – 2007 e92 335i - Preferred colour: Black

Sorry for noob question, but what sort of hoses are these?
Why we need to change it? Sorry, I am missing all the background. Can anybody point me in the right direction or post a link here? Thanks.

Braided hoses increase brake pedal feel and feedback. They also prevent the pedal going soft under repeated hard use as the standard rubber hoses heat up and expand reducing the pressure in the braking system. Braided hoses also look cool
I've used braided hoses on ALL of my performance cars over the years, then again I take my cars on track so for me this is an essential upgrade.

I'm also in. It would be silly not to at that price. If your brakes need any other work these will hardly even add anything to the labour bill.

I've PM'd Looney on BMWowner.com to see when we can kick off the groupbuy. There are 10 of us now so that's a very good start
I'll PM you all individually when it's made official as well as updating this thread.

I'll take a set too. Not sure if it changes anything but I have a 330D with 335D front calipers.. I assume there not going to be terribly different!

This is not a big job guys.
I've always had mine done at the same time as pads and discs etc. You will also need to flush your brake fluid and replace with new fluid of course.
