E92 320i - Price check? Or for sale!
I’ve got a 2007 e92 320i that gets almost no use at the moment as I have a company vehicle now, so I’m thinking about selling her now.. as the title says I’m not quite sure what I can get for her as I’ve done a lot of work over the years.
Some info: 2007 e92 320i in Monaco Blue with beige interior. Almost 180k on the clock but drives faultlessly, always have been changing the oil every 7k. The car was bought a lil over 3 years ago with 114k on the clock so I’ve done over 65k since then which was mainly commuting for work (lots of motorway driving) Maintenance (mainly preventative) Chain, tensioner and everything else replaced 3 years ago when I bought the car. Oem Clutch and flywheel replaced 18 months ago including the gearbox oil change All 4 sachs shocks replaced a year ago including the brake discs, pads and flex hoses. Oem Electric water pump and thermostat replaced 12months ago. While had that done I also asked for the valve cover and oil cooler gaskets to be replaced. New oem Spark plugs, ignition coils and 1 injector 9 months ago. All injectors are revision 12. Rear differential fully rebuilt with all new bearings 6 months ago. Besides maintenance I have had a lot of retrofits done: Full M-Sport interior - electric, heated seats with memory, steering wheel, gear knob, parking brake and black headliner all in very good condition. Fully functional CIC pro navigation with the 2021 maps and free upgrades using usb. Fully working combox for voice commands, Bluetooth streaming, iphone apps etc… Logic 7 audio system with 15speakers all working perfectly and it does sound great. Parking sensors front and rear. Full led interior lights and upgraded xenon bulbs to osram blue and white angel eyes. 18 inch BMW 405m in original black with Goodyear run flat tyres still plenty life left. Aero front lip. Probably still few bits I’ve missed out but that should cover it. Not sure what she’s worth so please let me know what you think! Or if you wish to make a offer than please feel free to PM me. Thanks in advance!! |

Not sure if this helps but I just sold a 2007 E92 330i M-Sport with 46K miles for £6,600.
Similar story to you - I regularly maintained it. New oil every year, new gaskets, spark plugs etc etc. It took a while to sell. Not sure if that was because of lockdown or I was advertising it too high 😝 (originally had it on for £7,950 which was still the cheapest 330i on the market with that spec). In the end I put it on eBay as I couldn't keep 3 cars hanging around. I'm sure I could have held out for more. My view is the car is worth between £2-3K. Probably worth keeping it if you have spent so much effort and money keeping it running so well. |

Thanks for the input mate!
Wow, someone definitely got a steal I’d say. Been looking around the place for 320i and still can’t really find anything below £2.5k. Might be less mileage but they’re as basic as it gets. Might be wise to take the Nav+Combox and Logic 7 out and sell separately as that alone is close to a grand.(if anyone is interested) Will see how it goes. |

Also price wise I would say £1500 or so. Looks like a tidy car in good nick but you can pick up a 325/330i for less than 3k with less mileage and similar spec. Not trying to piss on the party. Just being realistic.
For example got my 2007 E92 330i maunal for £3k with 36k miles on and a solid spec. |

Pure motorway driving returns a tad over 500miles to the tank so I guess around 40ish mpg.
It was a base model so all from scratch. You got a steal there for 3k! Not sure but can’t even find any half decent e90s for 1.5k around south east. |

I don't think they are actually selling for that. I spent a good while looking a year ago when I got mine and had a budget of 4k. I wanted something with no more than about 80k on it, manual and xenons (was looking at E90 too). I did have to wait and passed on a few cars along the way (as many were auto) but there were was an abundance of 120k mile 330i's for sale within that price range. Did get a bit lucky with the one I finally settled on and believe it or not I wasn't actually sure at the time if it was a good purchase. Needed a new HPFP which I got for £350 but still drove it home no bother. Think it has only had 2 owners as well - father and son!
The 320/325/330 values generally are capped by the 335. For example there was 65k mile manual m sport E93 335i listed at a dealer with good spec on ebay for about 3 weeks up for 8.5k I think which I thought was pretty reasonable not long ago. I've always said I'd have to double my money to get a 335i which would put a similar spec 330 at about £4250. I always look at ebay sold items to get an idea. Had a scroll through now and I think what I said was reasonable. Maybe list it for £2k and see if you get any interest. It is a nice looking car and does have more options that most. |
