N52 Air duct not connecting to airbox and rounded screws

Hello. I've got a 2008 BMW E92 325i with the N52 inline 6 and recently have started to notice sluggishness when accelerating and the transmission not wanting to downshift when going uphill. I suspected a bad air filter and when going to unscrew the airbox lid, all the screws were rounded so I'm unable to get the lid off !! Any way I can get them off without having to replace the whole box? Also, the Air duct that connects to the airbox (I'll link an image) Has one clip holder that is broken so it doesn't sit properly in to the box. I have duct taped it and so far I have felt a much better response in power and throttle response. Any way I can fix this? All help would be greatly appreciated, this car is my pride and joy ! Thank you.

I've circled the part that has broken off on the image below.
