Batteries - Recommendations and Supplier
Afternoon,
My E92 is starting to reset the clock/MPG after being sat for an hour or so, some reading indicates that typically due to the battery being on it's way out. (Plus sat with the ignition on I am seeing 11v at the battery) Evidently I need a replacement unit, is a genuine BMW article the way to go? (Car is under extended/Mondial Warranty), or is there a preferred alternative? Cheers |

No need, unless you have money to burn.
Just make sure you get whatever your car is supposed to have as standard (and often worth checking if the battery in it isn't a BMW one) - ie: correct rating and type. You'll need to have the battery monitor reset also, but you can do this yourself with Carly and the adaptor if you have it. I've always had Bosch in my older cars when they've needed replacing. |
