H&R Sport here. It's stiffer, so dips and bumps in the road tend to hit harder, but it's easily bearable. I have to watch out for driveways, speedbumps, and curbs, though, since the front spoiler can hit so much more easily now. Overall I'm quite happy with the look and ride.

Did any of you guys with the stock 189s and H&R sport springs (with no spacers installed) experience any rubbing? What about any wheel camber, or was that fixed with an alignment after putting on the springs?

I picked up an 07' 335i with the OEM style wheels. I'm looking at lowering it a little bit. This thread is 10 years old....so I'm just wondering if there are any better options now than the H&R springs that most people in this thread seem to run. Are the Bilstein b14 coilovers a good option? Also....what's the widest tire I can fit in the rear without rubbing? Will I need spacers to give the shocks/springs some clearance in the rear? Thanks! |
