someone PLEASE help and explain to me what this guy did
So I came across this video and I was wondering how this guy got his exhaust to sound like this without taking off the muffler. The description says "basically opened up each muffler removed all the sound deadening and wrapped the inner pipes to create "straight through" pipes."
Has anyone done this or have any info on it? |

hmm, not feeling it sorry, but the quick how to is
angle grinder around the seam of the exhaust body Open up remove dampening material use manifold wrap to tighten the gauzed pipes Wire strap the manifold wrap to the gauze piping Recase the exhaust body Tig weld Drive around with loud exhaust Thats pretty much it fella..

no , once done, its done..
to undo would never give you the same sound as before it was done.. and being a lease, id seriously consider the cons of returning the vehicle with the altered rear section.. it could end up quite expensive..

It may sound crazy but the way it sound when revved high is similar to an M5 V10 lol... so rasp or not, I actually think its decent.

I kinda agree with you, if that top end doesn't sound any more raspy under load I think that setup would sound pretty damn goood! I wonder how it would sound on an n54.
