Yeah I agree. I want the options.

I put a deposit down and plan to go take a look and get a PPI. Probably will retrofit heated steering since it's easy. Possibly heated seats if I find a set. Sport, nav, and comfort access is a greate start. Only thing I don't like is that it is AWD. Since it's 6MT I can deal.

Idk about you guys but if I'm looking for an E9x car the first thing I look for is sport package because the seats are so much better and they have the leg support aswell as suspension things if it's rwd. I think the crowd that prefers no options is very small in comparison to people that want everything.

Yeah, I asked for a $10k reserve which i felt was fair. They just responded that it wasn't a good fit for their site or audience. Also noted they are "inundated" with great submissions and simply can't list them all. So I assume I didn't do a good enough job of promoting it; not enough pictures, details, rarity, etc...

Maybe when I'm really ready to sell the Crimson I'll give Doug a shot over at C&B. Still working on retrofitting the sport package.

I was just saying there may be someone on here that is selling or knows someone selling what they are looking for. But we will never know if they don't post specs

You might try Doug DeMuro's new site Cars and Bids....basically competes against BaT and their nonsense.

I looked on CCA when you posted but didn't see the ad anywhere. Guess it's up now.

Maybe it's a touch high? Might bring that much on BaT. Here is one with 22k miles for under 15k. Yes it's an auto.

I think many of us have moved on and this is a small niche market. I love the simple build specs your wagon has but the beauty of the e91 to me is the stick and no idrive. We have had 3 BMW wagons over the last 12 years. I bought my e91 stick 3 years ago for $16,xxx with 27k. We just bought a replacement for my wife's e39 525it/5 and she wanted a newer BMW wagon but hated the F31. We ended up going a completly different direction and picked up a CPO GX460. Old school naturally aspired V8, hydraulic steering and brakes. Extremely comfortable seats are great for soaking up the highway miles and we can now get out into the woods with the dogs. The GXOR concept Lexus put out last convinced us to give it a try and we have the 128i in the garage for when we want the BMW driving feel we like. If we get another car I imagine it will be a Tesla.

I've been driving BMWs for the last 17 years but I think our days of daily driving them are nearing a sad end. As long as we have the room and means we will have a e82, e46 or e30 coupe in the garage. I love seeing this group stick with the passion because the e91 is the end of an era in my eyes. Its great to see the clean finds here because clean e46 and e39 wagons are very hard to find.

Nice example! I’ve noticed buyers paying top dollar are looking for specific options or color combos. 6MT and no iDrive are huge pluses for me. Although retrofitable, the combination of Halogen + non-Sport package makes your example a tough sell for me if I was in the market. The seats and headlights are $2k on top of your asking price in my book.
