No good judging that now, cos there's pre-baby GF and post baby GF, may as well be different people from different galaxies!

I too always had a clean car, until 27th September 2008, then it all ended...

No need to be sorry mate, I can only imagine how hard life is with kids.. I do want some, but in about 3-4 years time.

Can you not nip up the local car wash?

Hooray - that makes two of us - seems like we're the odd ones out though!

TBH I'd rather it be dirty than have some dodgy albanian spray acid all over it, clean it with sponges full of grit then dry it with an old wiper blade.

Even worse a rotary car-wrecker automatic wash.

Ah but if you get friendly with them, you can get them to wash it to a decent standard.. Ie no ACID, and with fresh water and clean mits.

At least once a week with the 2 bucket method and now it's winter the snow foam first, washed then dried off and the odd coat of glaze.

Once a week on a sunday, i spend about 2 hours cleanings the exterior. Never done the interior in the 10 months i've owned her. Plus i have 3 young kids but always find the time to make her bang tidy =D

I wash her/clean interior once a month since in FL, we have great sunny weather all of the time. Polish/wax twice a year. She sleeps a lot in the garage and only plays on the weekends.

Blimey - must be a bit grim on the inside.

Vomit / wee / milk / old food etc goes a bit rank after a month or so

LOL - I tried the 'no eating' rule (works with adults) but the missus says that's child cruelty!

Leather is ok with sick as long as you don't let it sit for too long.... can't say the same for the back of my head and the roof lining when it squirts through their fingers.......

Aerial? What is this, 1987?
I can't remember the last car I had that had an aerial!
Wiper blades, still on my first set I think, although they may have been replaced at the last service.

I haven't washed mine myself since around August time, I have gotten a bit lazy with it and now take it to be washed on either a Friday afternoon or Saturday morning.

i do a weekly wash, with a a decent polish/seal every 3 months.

im also quite lucky that I have a decent bunch of EU approved manual automobile rejuvenators around the corner, ie they dont use acid or cilit bang, who are more than happy to wash and rinse the car down if it gets too cold to be standing outside.

I know one of them through our local 5aside league and is he mustard, used to play professional in Poland apparently.
now he washes cars in England - not sure how that works...
