Talking M-Sport to Eibach Pro Ride Height Help

Hey everyone,

I took a look around and it seems like everyone claims that the Eibach pro kit is mildly lower than the factory M-Sport Suspension. With that being said, I did the swap over the weekend (to the bmw b12 pro kit) and it seems like the car is actually higher in the front now. The struts were pretty much blown.. and when I took the springs off I noticed the markings on them were (H4). When I bought the vehicle I was told it was factory Msport stuff - does anyone know if the springs I had were aftermarket? Also the front springs seemed bent when I pulled them off, they didn't stand up totally straight - they had a lean to them.

Lots of questions/input here.. The car drives amazing now. Feels very planted, no vibrations or anything weird. Its on the rack getting an alignment now... but it seems odd that this pro-kit may have lifted the car a bit. I don't scrape coming out of my driveway anymore..

oh its an 11 335i btw

Thanks

Did you replace the top strut mounts at the same time? I'd give the suspension some time to settle first. Did you loosen any of the control arms to do the install? If you tightened them while the front suspension was fully unloaded you have accidentally added additional spring rate from your bushings that you didn't index properly.

its normal, check how the spring sits on b8 struts and how it sits on OEM.

very minor drop from oem sport springs to eibach prokits, almost unnoticeable. The spring rate isn't there to keep you off the bump stops, so unless you have nice roads you will ride on them and feel crashy.
