Mtech front and rear bumper suggestions

hey guys so im looking to get a new rear and front bumper. Im looking at the Mtech front and rear from duraflex. I was wondering what your suggestions are..

And is the installion basically take off the old one and put on the new one? or is there a bit of work involved?

My suggestion after going aftermarket on other cars and attempting to with this one...Don't bother. Save up get OEM. The value of your car won't take a big fat hit like it would the other way too.

Installation could and likely WILL be a bitch with after market. With OEM the bumpers are a quick and easy job.

Duraflex is fiberglass, so don't even bother.

Sounds good. Will it look weird if I install the front without the rear...or vice versa?

If your going mtech all the way, just buy the whole kit from tischer...They're right around $1500. IMO the best looking set up is the M3 rep front with Mtech rear bumper.

I think I'm Gonna buy it piece by piece because I'd need to get them painted so it's probably gonna run me a good amount

Go for the LCI M Sport bumper if you are keeping your options open. Classiest OEM bumper there is IMO.

LCI bumper will fit on pre-lci? does it need any extra work?

From what I've gathered, you need an adapter for the undercarriage for the bottom part of the bumper to line up. Other than that, everything bolts right on. The adapter goes for $20 on Tischer so I don't see why that would be a deal breaker.

I am picking up a LCI M Sport front bumper this weekend as a matter of fact, so I'll let you know what I find out.

There's also another active thread "my road to m sport" by another member "JDLM" that i would check out. Some very useful info in there.

If I was to replace the front bumper with the oem pre lci mtech would I also need to buy the mesh and other stuff? (sorry I just dont know everything that comes with it).

Also, any suggestions on where to get it painted? I'm from MA so if anyone around here knows a good place let me know!

I might be doing just that right now if this deal for one painted goes through. It's an aweful lot of money in my head though. Some part of me wonders if stock + a lip is a smarter way to go. I'll have cash left to upgrade the halogens to xenons AND get a rear lip if I did that.

If the mtech deal goes down I'll have a brand new front lip for sale LOL. I suppose its a win/win kinda problem.
