They shit all over mine no matter where I park... and it being black ain't making no difference... every day after work I have to go outside with a tub of soapy water and wash it all off. It etches into the clear-coat if I don't clean it.

Not so much bird poo, but when clean, flies seem to love landing on my car's paintwork. Wonder if it's something to do with silver paint?

I thought I was the only one! Black car - flies and seagulls alike seem to love it. Hate it when I finish washing the car, about to give it a polish and wax and it's covered in midgies. Baffles me.

How do people with convertibles go on with bird shit? Going by the amount I get on the roof of my car when parked, there's no way I'd risk leaving a convertible with the roof down, wiping crap off dashboard & seats really isn't something that can be left till you get home

Ohhh wow! Sorry man, I did laugh pretty hard when I saw that. That is awful! Do you live near the coast?!

I mean it's almost like the bird new exactly when it would piss you off the most and just went for it...

That sucks. I'm guessing you don't have a drive way? If you do, maybe a gazebo type structure to give it shelter?

Ah living the dream! Best of luck with that

I used to do detailing as a business but then moved house and no longer have anywhere to do it. Parents bought me a brand new machine polisher 3 months ago, sadly still haven't touched it as there's no where for me to detail under shelter

And I know your pain all too well when it comes to having just detailed the car and some bird shites on it
