Boost leak

Car was running fine stock, after installing Jb4 I got a code for a boost leak. Possible causes?? Do you guys recommend uninstalling the chargepipe and reinstalling? Thanks!

Please take 10 seconds and search for boost leak. If it is a small leak, you won't get a code stock, but you will when you tune. This is among one of the most common problems and it has been discussed and beaten to death. All of the possible failure points have been discussed, all of the methods of testing have been discussed. Seriously, it has been beaten to death.

I searched and nobody is having the same symptoms as me. My car builds the up to around 12 PSI, and then drop to 7PSI, and build up again to around 14 at the end of the gear. Next time don't assume, if you don't intend on helping don't comment. ?

Nobody can tell you where it is leaking from. Go over all connections, smoke test, soapy water, whatever you choose to do until you find it.

Is there any location that's infamous to leak more than others? in other words A few of places that are known to cause boost leaks more than others?

Yes...if you have an N54 open your hood and you'll more than likely find leaks everywhere. Oil, boost...a little of each.

Hey thanks new guy. It sucks that your feelings get hurt when I tell people to search for things that have been beaten to death. I will make sure and take your one-rep seriously.

Make sure the CP is seated onto the throttlebody correctly. Make sure the other end where it connects to the stock piping is secure. Check the BOV/DV flange etc etc

The connection between the hot side charge pipe and the intercooler, the connection from the cold side lower charge pipe to the intercooler, the lower charge pipe to the upper charge pipe, the charge pipe to throttle body, and the diverter valves. I had leaks in all of those places.
