Whats next for PROcede/Piggybacks?

Shiv, or everyone else, whats next for PROcede or the piggyback world, power-wise? Are we maxed out on power from these units?

Upgraded- Turbo, Manifold, Fuel Pump, Injectors, etc.........

Pretty much like every other turbo car.

Also if you notice alot of the tuners are starting to say to use 98+octane for their 100% settings, that is usually a sign they are reaching their limits......... even though u could live life dangerously, but it seems like the avg modder on here doesn't want to blow their turbos just to get to 450whp on no turbo upgrades and just increased boost and timing and air and fuel ratios........

shiv has stated that the limit for stock internals would most likely be in the 450rwp range.

i havent heard much from Active.. I too was wondering what is going on with some of the other tuners during the recent activity with V2, JBS2R"H" and Helix.
So what's Active up to? I would love more maps from them or an idea of what is in the future for the Xede.
Because I am going to be upgrading the car over the winter, I would like some more ajustability.
I have been looking at the CP-E Standback, V2, or I could simply retune the Xede with the ChipTorque software, but I would be starting at zero and that would be EXPENSIVE$$$$$$....
So whats up AA??
( Sorry, didnt mean to jack this thread a bit. )

Downpipe maps are next - probably 400whp max without changing engine internals or a turbo upgrade (93 octane). I am sticking with bolt ons. 400whp will be enough for me!

Fix the limp mode problem?

Oops you meant power-wise, of course more power (and no limp mode)!

Actually, not many V8's can make 450 at the wheels. To get that currently you need a heavily modified N/A V8 or big V8 (ie LS7) or a F/I one (ie 5.4L GT500).

Personally, I don't want a 400 whp 335i

The ideal power output for me would be

355-360 rwhp
360 rwtq

on 91 Octane pump gas and simple drop in filter.

The PROcede v2.0.2 is not far off that now, as I got 345 rwhp and 352 rwtq
That was on 92% settings on 92 Octane.

I'm guessing on 91 Octane with 93% settings I would be at the same power level as 92 Octane at 92% settings.

So I'm hoping v2.0.3 will up the power and torque just a bit so I can run an easy 91 Octane tune with a bit more power up top and a bit more torque below 4500 rpms and no major power drop off in the last 300 rpms like the current v2.0.2 6AT map has, and I'd be golden.

I can live with a mid 12's @ 114 mph daily driving 335i Coupe.

I think from this point is special maps for DP, exhaust and other mods...V2 like Shiv said will improve via maps and firmware....and maybe possible other enhanced features via the Procede reader program...Remember V2 gives us the feature to tune our own cars with the torque settings that each individual car can handle!!!

I hope to see a V2 type Procede that is one whole unit, to buy without first having 1.47 and adding to it.

Easy, reliable plug-in fittings. Amped water pump like the Dinan. Perfect power curve. Cockpit-adjustable programs -- switch from boring fuel efficient mode to screamer mode by touching a button. Oh, and a rocket sled.

I've been a good boy.

+1000

I have similar goals as Driver72 but I will support the tune with a drop in filter, FMIC and catted downpipes. This will allow to use lower torque % settings for the same gains. As long as further map versions support the current power / torque output levels the PROcede V2 is the perfect ECU tuning for me. Others may come, the PROcede is reality. I have no intensions for more power or torque and I can use any kind of gas in case I have to. I am looking forward to additional functionality. I am impressed that Shiv finally made such a tune.
