Called over to Dinan yesterday, they tell me they have an exhaust, throttle body, and air intake w/ chip pretty close to release. They told me they have the prototypes of the products, just in the final stages of testing, hopefully by Sept. the rep told me. Might be worth the wait!

dinan is very pricey. benefit, of course, is that warranty still holds up. Let's see what Dinan has to offer.

Only if you have the parts installed at an authorized dealership which costs big bucks.

Hm... I think I'll call dinan and offer to guinea pig my car for those products, since I can install them myself, as a BMW tech... yummy. =)

Aparently my dealership is in the throws of becoming a Dinan dealer, and my parts manager is buddy buddy with the head of r/d over there? yay.

Well, I can dream right? the above is all true, but the likely hood of me getting to guinea parts? yeah right.

FYI: I hear thru the dealership that they will no longer be selling Dinan products nor will they work with Dinan on Warrenty issues. In a couple of years the BMW dealers will work with Alpina and not Dinan

this is the reason why you see the dealerships & Dinan's website selling the Chips for
50% off!

We are in the process of becoming a Dinian certified dealership. The info you have is incorrect.
