Azpen 7" 1.3Ghz quadcore Tablet (MHD)

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
USD 45.00

Location:
✓ Will Ship

Item Interest
Azpen 7" 1.3Ghz quadcore processor tablet / 512MB RAM / 8GB STORAGE - works for anyone needing a flash tool for MHD flashing that may have an apple phone and cannot get the flasher module.

I bought this to have a designated tablet, but ended up using my Galaxy S5 active to do the flash, and now im not using it.

I have confirmed the tablet will communicate with the ecu, i have used it to clear codes on my '10 135i ... you will still need to purchase the communication cable from somewhere - but this is about the cheapest, well working alternative to getting a new phone.

the battery has been cycled maybe 4 or 5 times (died & recharged) so there is PLENTY of life left in this thing, its basically new.

shipping included anywhere in the US, buyer assumes 4% paypal fee.. i will ship it UPS ground same day as long as i receive payment before 3pm EST. on a weekday..

you sure can, all you do is log in with your gmail account and everything should transfer.. mhd should update and download the unlock for your vin..

if for some reason it didnt, you email mhd directly, they will confirm your puchase and then they'd get you set straight..

just let me know !

Has the mhd flashing been reliable for you? Any failed flashes? What cable? Thanks

I am running the MHD stage 2+ flash, as i am full bolt on, it has been running fantastic, pulls hard as a mf... my butt dyno says its prob in the 425whp+ range and def that in torque as well if not closer to the 435 mark.. i have a pretty good butt dyno too as i have owned my fair share of boosted imports before this car.

it still is very very smooth, boost just hits hard and holds approx 18lbs to about 6400rpm, maybe a little less before it drops off (our cars are meant to be slightly short shifted when running them due to power stopping its increase at about that mark)

overall, i am extremely happy with the tune and have had ZERO issues with it.. it will also automatically clear your downpipe codes for having aftermarket downpipes and the o2 sensors realizing it... when you do emissions you will have to flash back to stock and drive it for 50miles minimum..

flashing has been easy, takes about 25min or so, i just hooked up jumper cables to my car from another and let the other car idol instead of using a battery charger and it worked fine.

it actually runs so good that i was going to go get a custom dyno tune done and now im debating it since the flash tune is honestly perfect.. i cant say enough good stuff about it.. its like a whole new car, and i would reccomend it to family.

mhd also has outstanding support, they typically will get back to you within 24hrs of requesting help, and will help you until the issue if resolved. thankfully, like i said, ive had zero issues.. best 150.00 ive ever spent on vehicle performance hands down.

hope this helps !

Joe

Gotcha, i see youre in MD now.. and yea from what i read the cables can be very finniky .. i did my reading and found the most success with that cable and since ive owned it havent had one issue with anything..

im glad you got yours to work ! and thats legit you mapped out your own tune. did you modify existing maps, or start from scratch ? just curious. also- you have previous tuning experience ?

mhd is a blessing to me, i owned a cobb before, but got rid of it when mhd was on its way in due to them stopping with development.. i knew the price was going to drop on the re-sale big time..

well if you change your mind - or end up wanting the tablet just let me know.. as of now you're the only one ive spoken to.. if you're ever planning to be in the baltimore area of maryland for a meet let me know too - id love to meet up with some other n54s/55s sometime, theres only one near me that im friends with so im constantly playing with other stuff..

Yea I had Cobb and sold it w/o even flashing it! I saw others logs of ots maps and no thank you. I would have kept cobb if they had the accesstuner atr available so i can change the tune. Their interface is solid tho when compared w mhd. Glad mhd is working for you.

No previous experience. I been learning a lot from this community and also the other boost forum. Wedge and v8baits tuning sheet also helped. Not to mention the 1M stock map

I have good automotive background and in maps and numbers so picked it up. I use tunerpro to make the tune and its been very satisfying. If you are interested I can guide, of course at your own risk. I dont know of any local guys so sure it would be fun, live clost baltimore.

tablet is back up for sale - long story short, it was an international buyer, and more was involved than i would have ever thought to ship something internationally.

bump - ttt
