Hi,

I have just bought myself a 2011 e93 330i with the N53B30A engine. This is a salvage car, which is non-running. According to my mechanic I will need to have the engine replaced.

Now, I am considering getting a good well-priced engine from an e92 325i again N53B30A). How easy would it be to do the swap? Which parts would need to be swapped / replaced? How easy would it be to get the original DME to work with the newly installed engine?

The intake manifold, as well as all the auxiliary parts from my old engine are ok.

Thank you in advance,

chrees
