Has anyone have experience with their customer service?
I purchased a short shifter end of July and i've received a confirmation email.
I haven't received any update so I sent them an email and even messaged them on facebook and I haven't received any response from them yet.
Not sure whether I should wait longer or just call my credit card to cancel that charge....

I have one on my R53 Mini cooper... super nice piece, like really nice, but stupidly expensive.

I can't remember how long it took for mine to come but I seem to remember it was a while...

Ok so Maher from RTD got back to me and due to a defect in their part it caused a delay in the production so at this point they're probably catching up on emails. In the end they provided me a very fair option to either get a full refund or wait about another month and receive some credit back.
Since I really want to try their product I decided to wait it out. I'm just glad they got back to me to confirm my order

I finally got the shifter it was definitely worth the wait. Thank you Maher! Right off the bat I was very impressed with the quality and finish of the shifter. The install was very straight forward and much easier compared to uninstalling the oem shifter and brackets.
The gear change felt very direct and precise! I couldn't believe how short the travel distance was when shifting into gear. It made the oem shifter feel like a shifter on a bus. Also the noise it makes when you shift into gear makes you feel like you're in a race car.

Things to consider before installing this shifter is to cover the chassis hole where the shifter mounts as lot of noise and warm air will channel through that chassis mount hole. If you get a shift boot that will definitely help reduce it but I recommend sealing that hole as best as possible.

Definitely worth every penny!

If vanity is more your thing you could always get a different shifter that doesn't function as well.

Then sounds like you don't need an upgraded shifter. Problem solved
